Stephen Jones

Stephen is one of the founding partners of ATM Consultants and loves working with clients to help them achieve business success. His ability to see the bigger picture and think strategically makes him an invaluable asset to the firm and all clients he works with. Coupled with Stephen’s aptitude for strategic thinking is his excellent technical knowledge and understanding. This is further enhanced by his ability to explain key concepts simply, which Stephen sees as his real strength. This ability to explain complex, technical concepts has been well recognised in his role as a Tax Trainer for CPA Australia. He is also the Chairman of the Public Practice Advisory Committee of CPA Australia. Stephen has always been a contributor in the community and is a past chairman of the Eastern Football League and former Board Member of AFL Victoria. At other times he is often found on the golf course and occasionally catching a wave.

A founding partner of ATM Consultants since its inception in 1983, Graeme values client relationships and constantly strives to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients in terms of wealth creation and cost minimisation. Having a genuine interest in his clients and an eye for detail ensures Graeme’s clients’ financial well being is always a priority. Outside of work, he is involved in community and sporting groups. He enjoys his golf and is a member of Spring Valley Golf Club and an Ex-President of Mount Waverley Cricket Club.

Jess McCarthy

Jess is our friendly accounting systems expert who has embraced cloud accounting with the same passion she has for helping small business clients achieve their goals. Her extensive knowledge of accounting systems (including XERO, QB, MYOB) and certifications in XERO and QuickBooks Online – coupled with her ability to identify and understand the unique needs of each client – ensures the accounting systems Jess sets up and maintains are tailored to the specific needs of each client and deliver the key business information that is vital for strategic decision making and wealth creation. During Jess’s long term employment with ATM she has been exposed to a wide range of business, accounting and tax issues. She continues to enhance this extensive hands-on experience with further studies, building on her ability to effectively collaborate with clients to realise their business and financial goals. During her leisure hours, Jess enjoys playing basketball with friends.

Jo’s public practice experience complements her corporate tax and management background, gained working for a large multinational company for 10 years. Her technical expertise and comprehensive understanding of tax law and practice is invaluable when added to her commitment to ensuring clients’ needs are met. Jo works for us part-time, and when she is not in the office, enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis and trying to tame a large garden.

Winnie has certifications in Xero and Quickbook’s online and helps our clients make sure they are up to date by assisting with all monthly and quarterly Activity Statement and Superannuation obligations. She also assists with the preparation of Client’s end of year accounts.
Outside of work, Winnie enjoys music and movies and used to enjoy playing golf on weekend.

Ajitesh has pursued his passion by securing a bachelors degree in commerce, majoring in Accounting. In order to continue his career progression, he completed his CPA. He puts his pragmatic skills to use by working on BAS’s, tax returns and end of year accounts.
Ajitesh finds solace in spending time with loved ones and enjoys playing and watching cricket.
